We are the LORD’s church and so we welcome every one of any age, race, or ability. No matter where you are in your walk with God, we hope to worship, learn, and praise God together.

Because of your giving, our mission and ministries are made possible. As the church celebrates over 160 years of worship and service, we look forward to the challenges of growing ministry for generations to come.

If you are considering a new place of worship or a relocation to our area, we would love to have you be our guest. Feel free to browse through the various areas of our website and learn about our fellowship. You are also welcome to visit our Facebook page or call on us for any questions you may have.

Welcome and God Bless!

  • Electronic Giving Opportunity!

BUMC is pleased to announce the introduction of an electronic option for making regular offerings.  Contributions can now be given automatically from your checking or savings account (or processed using your credit or debit card). Our new electronic giving program offers convenience for you and much-needed donation consistency for our congregation.

If you are currently giving on a weekly basis, you will no longer need to write out 52 checks a year or prepare 52 envelopes. And, when travel, illness or other circumstances prevent you from attending services, this program will allow your weekly offerings to continue on an uninterrupted basis. This feature can also be used to give a one-time gift.

Click on the 'Give Online' button to the left, then 'Create Profile', and follow the onscreen instructions to create an online profile and to schedule your recurring contributions.

Thank you for your continued generosity and financial support to Brodhead United Methodist Church!

  • New Worship Service

Looking for a new Worship Service?

Have you stopped in for our new Praise and Worship Service  on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.? The format of the service will be short and informal. We will worship through song using ising worship app which will allow us to produce beautiful music with accompanied lyrics in the screen.

We would invite you to start the evening with us! Children from grades 4K through 12 can be a part of our Wednesday youth program which runs from 3-5p.m. Then join your children (or come by yourself or bring a friend) for supper at 5:30 p.m.  After a meal and fellowship you can go upstairs (with your group) and worship with us for about 30 minutes.

We hope you are as excited as us for this new worship venture!

    Come pray with us!
    Come sing with us!
    Come worship with us!

  • White Gift Collection & Packing

  • Christmas Program December 10th 9am

    Children's Christmas Program-
    "Building Christmas"

In the beginning, God, the master builder, made the world.Christmas is when we celebrate the birth of Jesus, whose life and death enabled God to build a new creation by saving us from our sins! Through Scriptures, readings, skits, and music, we will learn the story of Jesus’ birth and all that Jesus means to us. We encourage you to bring your family and friends to share the children’s performance of ‘Building Christmas’.

  • A Night In Bethlehem- December 10th at 10am

After the Christmas Program, we will have a special family event!  You will get to experience ‘A Night in Bethlehem’ and walk through the town the night Jesus was born!   Classrooms will be transformed into a bakery, metalsmith shop, carpentry store, scribe’s tent, and of course a manger. Each stop will have aninteractive project to complete. Everyone is welcome to join us for this interactive family event!

  • Family Promise Begins December 10th!

Be sure to sign up to help the week of Family Promise by clicking on the tab above or calling the church office!

  • Blue Christmas Service

    Thursday, December 14th
    6:30 PM to 7:30 PM

Not everyone is up and cheery for the Christmas holidays. Dealing with the death of a loved one, facing life after divorce or separation, coping with the loss of a job, living with cancer or some other disease that puts a question mark over the future, and a number of other human situations make parties and joviality painful for many people in our congregations and communities. This service is to be a reflective time, accepting where we really are, and holding onto healing and hope.
